Description:
You’ve seen models of this project already. The seniors used theirs when they talked to you about what to expect at the beginning of the year and you’ve seen them now and then in our rooms. This project basically asks you to do the exact same thing as the final paper. It is asking you to show what you have learned. However, instead of showing it through essay writing, you will show it artistically through images and words. Your job is to create the Annual WALC Junior Poster Board, which documents your memories and your growth in WALC. Please do not freak out. You will have all of finals week to do this. That’s two hours each for your WALC classes, plus the study time allowed for the classes that week. You will have time. What you need to start doing with your group members (yes, it is a group project-it has to be) is to compile pictures, poems, art, etc. and start talking about your concept. Think of your poster board as a kind of mural. Like the murals you studied for your mural paper, your board needs to have a unifying theme or image, which can convey all of the various lessons, concepts, and images you wish to include in your board. Try to be creative and have fun with this project, but remember that it does count as your final exam for WALC. Good luck!
