A Journey to Remember
Olein Santiago
Balboa High School We were all young
full of wonder and ignorance
so confused by society
each one waiting to escape Entered a new world
not certain what to expect
knowing it was a another journey
that we were all about to discover Chose this path
because it was offered
and many just to experience
something different form the usual Later realised
this is a healthy truth
learning about life
balance and imbalanced Encountered the wild
witnessing the grandeur of nature
absorbing knowledge of the past
to fortell the future Climbed mountains
so close to the top
hoping to reach
the heavens above Searched far and wide
only to find ourselves
enabling us to know
what we want in life Encouraged each other
by doing good for others
with caring and sharing
as the keys to our purpose Guided by the wind
that pushed us to the path
and all we needed to do
was decide wich road to take Now all has come to an end
we will keep the memories
in our souls and minds
truly, a jouney to remember
